Things families ask us
If your question is not here, ring us. Someone who actually prints the cards will answer.
- How long will my order take?
- We email you a draft of your order within 3 working days. Once you approve the final draft, your order is dispatched within 3 to 4 working days. If you need it sooner, ring us and we will do everything we can to work around the date.
- When do I send you the photographs and wording?
- After you order. Pick the design you want and pay for it, and we email you a private link to a form where you fill in the name, the dates, the verse and the photographs. You can come back to that link as often as you need, and if you would rather do it over the phone, ring us and we will take the details from you.
- How do I place an order?
- Order online, ring us on 021 235 7080, or call into the print studio in Ballincollig and we will sit down with you.
- Do you charge for delivery?
- No. Delivery is free anywhere in Ireland and the UK.
- Are envelopes included in the price?
- Yes. Envelopes are included in every price shown on this site.
- Can I use my own photographs?
- Yes. You are welcome to use any template on this website, and we can also build the card around a photograph of your own, whether that is a garden, a boat, a favourite beach or a place that mattered to them.
- What if my photograph is a print, not a file?
- Post it to Island Memorial Cards, Myler Business Park, Flynn's Road, Ballincollig, Cork, P31 HD88. We scan every photograph and return it to you on the day we receive it.
- Do you send outside Ireland and the UK?
- Yes. We regularly print for families in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and across Europe.
- Can I visit the studio to see samples?
- Yes. Call into the print studio in Ballincollig and we will show you sample prints so you can see the paper and the finish in your hand.
- What is the difference between a memorial card and a lifetime card?
- A lifetime card is fuller and more personal. Each one has three double-sided panels, which gives you six pages, so you can carry a run of photographs and memories instead of one.
- What if I want changes after I see the proof?
- Tell us and we change it. Adjustments to your proof cost nothing, and we keep going until you are happy with it before anything is printed.
