What we collect
When you order from us we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, together with everything you send us for the card itself: the name of the person who died, dates, wording, verses and photographs.
When you browse the site we collect basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which is used to keep the site working and secure.
Why we hold it
We hold your order details so we can design, proof, print and deliver your order, and so we can reprint it later if you come back to us. We hold your contact details so we can send you the proof and answer your questions.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use the photographs or wording you send us for marketing or samples unless you tell us in writing that we may.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for seven years, which is what Irish revenue rules require. Artwork files are kept so that families can order more cards years later, which happens often. If you would rather we deleted your artwork, email us and we will remove it.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers and we never see it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@islandmemorialcards.com or ring 021 235 7080 and we will deal with it within one month.
